WVU School of Medicine Open House- September 10

The Open House is on Monday, September 10th from 5:00pm -8:00pm in HSC North 1909. There will be free parking available in lot 93P, which is located by the Health Sciences Center.

WVU Pre-Medical Track Program- Application Open, Due September 28

Established in September of 2015, the WVU Pre-Medical Track is an early assurance program designed for selected undergraduate students of WVU. Students accepted into the Pre-Medical Track will receive counseling through the office of admissions and will be able to participate in exclusive workshops at the WVU School of Medicine. Those students who successfully complete the requirements of the Pre-Medical Track will be guaranteed an interview with the WVU School of Medicine, though not guaranteed acceptance.

This online fair hosted by APTA will provide attendees with the opportunity to meet and connect with Admissions Representatives from many of the nation’s leading Physical Therapist Education Programs. The Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University is hosting their annual Spring Admissions Open House on Saturday, April 14, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

LUCOM Open House- Saturday, April 28

Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine is hosting a Spring Open House Program on Saturday, April 28, 2018, from 9 am to noon.  Prospective students will meet the Deans of LUCOM, learn about admissions criteria and class demographics, tour simulation classrooms and facilities, anatomy labs, and library resources, as well as attend a student panel. 

College Health Scholars Program Free Conferences- March and April 2018

The College Health Scholars Program, hosted by The National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA),  focuses on helping increase the diversity in the medical and health science fields, particularly medicine, dentistry, nursing, public health, and graduate sciences (PhD) programs.  The program is hosting three upcoming conferences that are not only free for all college students and their parents, but a great way for students to learn about academic advice, professional and personal development, and financial aid.  All the conferences will have discussion panels, as well as graduate school recruiters. 

Camp Kon-O-Kwee Seeking Counselors for Summer 2018

Camp Kon-O-Kwee is a free summer camp hosted by the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) for kids between the ages of 8-17 who have been diagnosed with a neuromuscular disease. This year, camp will be held from August 4-10, 2018, at Camp Kon-O-Kwee, Fombell, PA.
