Academy for Research, Clinical, & Health Equity Scholarship (ARCHES) at Georgetown University - Application Now Open!
The Georgetown University School of Medicine's Academy for Research, Clinical, and Health Equity Scholarship (ARCHES) is a six-week program for undergraduates interested in pursuing careers in healthcare, providing experiences in research, shadowing, and community service in Washington, DC.
The program will take place on June 24 - August 8th, 2020.
All rising college juniors and seniors pursuing health-related careers are eligible to apply. First-generation students and students from backgrounds underrepresented in healthcare are particularly encouraged to apply. Students should have a minimum GPA of 2.5 when applying.
In addition to in-depth opportunities to conduct research, shadow Georgetown physicians, and serve health equity non-profits in DC, ARCHES offers a $4,000 stipend, free on-campus housing for the duration of the program, and up to $250 in travel compensation on a case by case basis.
